Monday, April 13, 2026
A Town Board meeting of the Town of Marion, Wayne County, NY was held on
Monday, April 13, 2026 at the Marion Town Court Room.
Supervisor, Mike Cramer called the meeting to order at 6:30pm and asked the Clerk of the Board to give a roll call.

Supervisor Cramer asked everyone to stand and give the Pledge of Allegiance.
Acknowledgements: Supervisor Cramer thanked the Marion Highway Department, John Cornell, Marion School District and Marion Historic Association for their hard work and dedication installing the new bicentennial mural. Councilman Lonneville also thanked Supervisor Cramer for all that had did for the mural as well. Councilman Lonneville also thanked Councilwoman Mary Johnson for her work on

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Marion Town Board accepts the resignation of Margaret Taber, as of the Marion Town Board member, 3884 N. Main St., Marion, NY 14505; January 1, 2026; and
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Marion Town Board directs the Clerk of the Board to give a copy of this resolution to Margaret Taber and the Principal Account Clerk.

WHEREAS, pursuant to NYS Employees Retirement Systems section 212, the Marion Town Board may appoint Margaret Taber to the vacancy of Marion Town Board; and
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Marion Town Board appoints Margaret Taber, 3884 N. Main St., Marion, NY 14505, as the Marion Town Board effective January 3, 2026 expiring on December 31, 2027; and
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Marion Town Board authorizes the salary of this appointment to be paid quarterly at the current 2026 budge amount; and
BE IT FURHTER RESOLVED, that the Marion Town Board directs the Clerk of the Board to give a copy of this resolution to Margaret Taber and the Principal Account Clerk.

BE IT RESOLVED, the Town Board authorizes to send out an RFP for an updated work due to reduction of JCap grant at the Marion Court Room to be returned no later than May 15, 2026; and;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Marion Town Board directs the Clerk of the Board to give a copy of this resolution to the Principal Account Clerk

Resolution #11 Adopt New Job Night Park Supervisor Job Description which includes Parks & Recreation Escalation Matrix and Workflow.
On a motion by Councilman Lonneville and Councilwoman Herman this resolution was tabled.
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Marion Town Board adopts the new job descriptions for the following Night Park Supervisor with Parks & Recreation Escalation Matrix Workflow; and
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Marion Town Board directs the Clerk of the Board to give a copy of this resolution to Parks & Recreation Director, and all recreation positions and the Principal Account Clerk.

Additional Resident Comments:
Executive Session: : The Town Board went into executive session at 7:36pm to discuss matters relating to employment history of a particular person. The Executive Session closed at 7:46pm on a motion from Councilwoman Herman and seconded by Councilwoman Johnson.
With no further business, on a motion by Councilwoman Herman and seconded by Councilman Lonneville, Supervisor Cramer closed the meeting at 7:48pm.
