Resolution #2 Accept Retirement of Margi Taber as Town of Marion Board Member.

WHEREAS, Margaret Taber, Marion Town Board member, has submitted his resignation from the Town of Marion as Town Board member effective January 1, 2026; now
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Marion Town Board accepts the resignation of Margaret Taber, as of the Marion Town Board member, 3884 N. Main St., Marion, NY 14505; January 1, 2026; and
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Marion Town Board directs the Clerk of the Board to give a copy of this resolution to Margaret Taber and the Principal Account Clerk.

WHEREAS, pursuant to NYS Employees Retirement Systems section 212, the Marion Town Board may appoint Margaret Taber to the vacancy of Marion Town Board; and
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Marion Town Board appoints Margaret Taber, 3884 N. Main St., Marion, NY 14505, as the Marion Town Board effective January 3, 2026 expiring on December 31, 2027; and
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Marion Town Board authorizes the salary of this appointment to be paid quarterly at the current 2026 budge amount; and
BE IT FURHTER RESOLVED, that the Marion Town Board directs the Clerk of the Board to give a copy of this resolution to Margaret Taber and the Principal Account Clerk.
Resolution #xxxx Authorize Town Board to send an RFP for JCap Grant work

WHEREAS, the Marion Town Board on behalf of the Town Court has applied for a JCAP grant; and
BE IT RESOLVED, the Town Board authorizes to send out an RFP for an updated work due to reduction of JCap grant at the Marion Court Room to be returned no later than May 15, 2026; and;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Marion Town Board directs the Clerk of the Board to give a copy of this resolution to the Principal Account Clerk
